How to increase your stamina

Stamina is the ability to withstand fatigue after prolonged mental or physical exertion. People who join marathons need to have great stamina to last all the way to the finish line. If you want to improve your stamina, here are some ways to do it.

  1. Stick to a healthy, well-balanced diet plan. Your body needs food to fuel it, so consume only foods that can provide you with the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients necessary to keep you energized.

  1. Drink enough water. You can get so many benefits from staying hydrated, including preventing kidney stones and losing weight. Water can minimize muscle fatigue and can boost your muscle performance.

  1. Exercise regularly. Adults need about two and a half hours of cardio plus a couple of strength training sessions every week to keep their overall stamina and energy intensity at the best level possible.

  1. Stay well-rested. If you are regularly working out and exercising, you will need to still get some rest to avoid injuries. Get enough sleep to be refreshed and energized the next day.
