How to increase muscle

If you want to grow some muscles, you should start tweaking certain aspects of your lifestyle. Increasing your muscle mass requires adjustments to your diet and exercise, so you have to be prepared to apply the following tips:

To effectively add muscle to your body, you have to increase your calorie intake. If your current caloric consumption stands at 2,000 calories per day, you should up it to 2,500 calories.

Eat more protein. Protein plays a big role in creating building blocks for muscle growth. Experts advise to consume approximately one gram of protein for each pound of your body weight.

Drink enough water to help build muscle mass faster. To know how much is enough water, multiply your body weight in pounds by 0.6. The product is the amount of water in ounces that you have to consume each day.

Eat at five or six small meals everyday. You can have any combination of protein shakes, bananas, peanut butter, chicken, and milk for your meals.

Take some multivitamins. These serve as supplements to your new diet plan and can supply the necessary vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy.

Choose exercises that can maximize your potential. Work on your quads, pecs, triceps, shoulders, and back.
