South Africa is one of the most diverse countries in the world. South African culture is like a big mixing bowl, made up of several unique ingredients that came from the different parts of the Earth. Kruger National Park is one of South Africa's most precious gems. It is considered to be among the biggest game reserves in the continent. Its area spans about 20,000 square kilometers, and it is bounded by the province of Limpopo to the west, another province called Mpumalanga to the south, Zimbabwe to the north and Mozambique to the east. It belongs to the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, which includes two other parks: the Limpopo National Park found in Mozambique and the Gonarezhou National Park located in Zimbabwe. Nature lovers would surely be awed at the extraordinary flora and fauna that the park has.

There are about 2,000 plant species growing in there, and 517 bird species flying the skies of the area. Any tourist would consider this an unforgettable life experience after seeing the more than 11,000 elephants, 3,000 crocodiles, numerous lions and tigers that thrive in the park.

If you want to extend your vacation a little longer at the Kruger National Park, you could always check in to one of the lodges and rest camps located inside. The lodge rooms are artistically decorated and have the necessary facilities. There are also economical rooms and cottages in which you could spend a good night sleep in.
